Roger Federer retained his glorious status at the third Grand Slam Wimbledon Championships of the year, defeating Italy’s Mateo Bennetti 6-1, 6-2, 6-2 in the quarter-finals to make it to the quarter-finals.

The second seed and eight-time champion Federer took the match to 17th Seed Bennetini in just one hour and 14 minutes.
Federer’s 99th win at Wimbledon, he has reached Wimbledon quarter-finals for the 17th time.
Roger Federer, now a win away from winning his 100th win over the All England Club. With this victory, Federer has recorded a record of 36-4 in this season.
Jokovic, Nadal and Serena in the quarter-finals –
Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Serena Williams entered the quarter-finals of the Wimbledon tennis tournament by winning straight sets here on Monday, but Aliston Riske stopped the world number one woman player Ashleigh Barty in the fourth round.
The current champion Djokovic defeated Yugo Humbert of France 6-3, 6-2, 6-3 to enter the quarter finals of the 11th and Wimbledon quarter-finals for 45th time in the tournament.
They have to face David Goffin to make the semi-final place.
